Miska has been a teacher for 23 years. Now that she’s working from home due to the pandemic, her whole routine completely changed and she’s been struggling with it. She has also been getting messages from her co-teachers who feel the same way and struggling to adapt to the school system changes and just panicking. She wants to lead her co-teachers but she doesn’t know how to do it.
Gary’s Story and Advices
Gary believes that Miska is a natural-born leader. The reason why her struggling to help her co-teachers is that Miska agrees with them that what’s happening right now is terrible and scary and she also gets bombarded with constant negativity from people around her that it’s hindering her to look at the macro. Gary said that Miska should put things into perspective.
One way to do that is to have zero anxiety, like Gary, if every child in America completely got no formal education from this day until September 1st. That’s because the kids will learn a lot more about themselves and life, in general, from the free time they got because of COVID than from following a school curriculum.
On network marketing:
Gary is not a fan of the structure of network marketing. What Gary suggested to Miska is that she should ask herself why she’s afraid to approach people. Is it because she’s not a natural salesperson or is it because she and her soul doesn’t believe in the way network marketing is structured and how people are compensated.
