Clem’s Question or Topic
Clem is from Austria. He left his job as a winegrower to pursue his passion for tinkering electronics. And now, he is looking forward to launching his competition legal machines company. As Clem begins, he wants to know the best strategy to promote his brand. Clem asks Gary if he should spend time, money, and effort on making a juggernaut of content ready for his launch, or should he focus on the main things first and get to know what the people think about the content he’s putting out.
Gary’s Story and Advices
Gary would pick option number two, which is putting out content as often as possible to get feedback. Because if Clem spends a lot of resources on a ton of content that nobody sees, he’s not using the internet’s feedback loop to get smarter. It’s just like using a 1985 business model. In the same way that Clem is innovating the chassis, Gary wants him to innovate on content. Gary also suggests that Chem should maybe hire an intern who is passionate about making content.
