Valerie’s Question or Topic

Valerie works in the corporate world and nonprofit healthcare, and she would love to get in the space of being a consultant for different businesses and employee engagement like positive psychology without it affecting her current employment. Her question to Gary is about how to begin scaling on LinkedIn despite being employed.

Gary’s Story and Advices

Not wanting to affect her current employment, Valerie was advised to scale by making it a general thought sharing than by saying that you want your services to be hiredIt’s building awareness and sharing thoughts on particular issues.

Many organizations and companies have very unique relationships with their employees. Unfortunately, most companies want to keep their employees in jail. What Gary meant on this is that some companies limit their employees in doing things outside of work since they might be a threat to the business. He, on the other hand, is desperate to build up the profiles of his employees, because he thinks that that is karma, and that the world is abundant. And if they feel that they can do better outside of Gary’s four walls, he wants that for them. He does not want to suppress them.

For content creation, Gary recommends searching on Google GaryVee deck or GaryVee Content Model.
