Juan is from Spain. He has been thinking a lot lately about documenting his journey to becoming a chef. However, his interest is in cars and he has been studying engineering for it and consuming a lot of content about it.

Juan is worried that if he creates and produces content about cars now, he will just be producing the same type of content already produced by the experts in the field because he doesn’t have that much experience in driving yet. Juan asks for Gary’s advice on creating content and as well as leveraging someone’s softness.

Gary’s Story and Advices

Gary said that what Juan can do is to make videos and create articles by taking something somebody has said and give his youthful hypothesis on it. If Juan gives just one observation, one agreement, or one disagreement on it and he gets it right one time, he wins and that’s where the value proposition is.

And to that point, Gary shared his story that when he was was still 16, he thought that Australian and New Zealand Wines should be bigger. So he wrote articles and videos saying about it, and he ended up being right.

With regard to leveraging his softness, Gary said that at this point, Juan has been very lucky that he hasn’t experienced any hardships yet but eventually, he will have hard times, too. What Juan needs to do right now is to put himself in a position to stand on his own feet, or take advantage of this moment in time and execute Gary’s advice and produce tons of content.
