Ashley’s Question or Topic

Ashley makes small pieces of content in the form of videos, and she was able to create a business out of it named VidBits. She tells her story with Gary on how she was looking back on the important moments of her life. Right now, Ashley is strangely excited, inspired, and sad at the same time, holding the compassion in her heart for people who are experiencing hard moments.

Gary’s Story and Advices

With the negativity brought by the current pandemic, Gary feels the same way as Ashley, and that this creates an excitement for truth, opportunity, and pause. Pausing is powerful, and a lot of people are going to get in their heads differently. Also, gratitude will emerge for many and cynicism for others.

Gary thinks this is a half glass empty, half glass full situation. The ones that may seem like bad decisions on paper upfront actually led to being a great decision seven years later. All of us need to understand that life is unbelievably complex and layered, and we need to lean into optimism and gratitude.
