Robert’s Question or Topic

Robert, also known as “Bobby.T”, is from Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. He owns a marketing agency named Version Me Media, specializing in content production and community management. He wants to know what strategies Gary would recommend for small companies to grow and navigate their businesses. He also asked Gary for advice on how can her wife grow and create her brand as a music artist.

Gary’s Story and Advices

If Gary were on Bobby’s shoes, he would be pushing hard into the content mode and sales mode. He would search many people on Twitter and LinkedIn, and reach out to busy companies such as restaurants that might be doing deliveries or food services. When one’s a small business, he or she needs cash because when a company loses clients, it can get ugly very quickly.

Gary also suggested that Robert should create a ton of content. If someone’s on a downtime, it is a perfect opportunity to make 500 videos. One of the biggest mistakes small companies make is they think that information they have is what they sell, Gary thinks it’s the execution.

On her wife’s brand:

For Gary, TikTok is amazingly powerful, so he wants Bobby’s wife to create four pieces of content per day. Plus, she should also go to Instagram and also become a moderator for a Facebook group to reach moms and then start live streams for her kid audience.
