Adam’s Question or Topic

Adam sells sunrooms, skylights, and conservatories for a living. Because of the pandemic, all his transactions to commercial establishments completely stopped. He wants to know how Gary keeps his clients calm and motivated to still do business despite the situation happening right now.

Gary’s Story and Advices

Communication and building a lot of relationships are the key. If one is not valuing money all the time, then he’ll have a much better chance of getting them to be okay. Trying to get Gary’s employees, partners, vendors, and clients to not be scared about money is what he’s doing right now. When they start freaking out, if they need, Gary would probably get someone a job in another company.

Because of the pandemic, Gary had some clients who needed to let go of his company, simply because they don’t have the money. There will be a lot of uncertainties going into these next 12 to 24 weeks, and nobody knows how it’s going to look like, so what’s Gary doing now is trying to get his employees, partners, vendors, and clients to not be scared about money. And if someone freaks out, Gary would probably get him/her a job in another company, if need be.
