Carey is from New Jersey. She is a Chief Executive Groupie of Brand Groupies, a full-service social media and PR agency. She had been a PR director for many corporate fashion brands. Now, she is an entrepreneur to help small business owners. Recently, Carey decided to focus primarily on B2B service brands and the AEC industry. And because she’s doing all the social media activities, Carey asks which platform to focus on and whether she should hire somebody to work on it.

Gary’s Story and Advices

Targetting small entrepreneurs, Gary thinks that LinkedIn is the answer for Carey, especially that she’s into B2B. On that platform, she needs to be the best at the ads, content, and understanding who the influencers on LinkedIn are and how they can do business with them. So Carey must spend 90% of her energy doing it. 

If Carey can afford to hire someone, then it would be a good idea. But as a practitioner, Gary prefers Carey to try it herself first so that she would know how the game works.
