Gary’s Story and Advices
Fourteen years old was a big year for Gary. That was the time when his baseball card business started to pop and his dad dragged him into the liquor store to work there every weekend and summer vacation. He will tell his 14-year old self that this is going to be such an enjoyable part of his life and he’s about to learn many skills he’ll use for the rest of his life.
Gary tells Brooklyn that she must not get too high on positive feedback because it will let her deal when people comment on her negatively. When she starts getting quiet, and her content is about herself for herself and not based on the audience’s feedback, it will put her in a much more stable place to do her thing.
