Natasha’s Question or Topic

Natasha is an artist who does craft fairs. It was supposed to be something she creates for fun but ended up loving it. So she began to engage with people on TikTok and became viral. From then, many influencers and lifestyle bloggers are coming to her to get a free product, stickers, or free art.

Natasha also formed an idea to do Instagram lives with her followers by teaching them digital art on their iPads. But her business mentor is opposed to it. It is because her mentor thinks that Natasha is supposed to charge them for a 30-minute session rather than providing value to her followers with a free live session.

Gary’s Story and Advices

Influencer marketing will work for her. Natasha can go on intuition by auditing them and see how engaged the audience is. Natasha may go all-in for free stickers. It’s cost-effective, and you can share it all day.

If she decides a person is worthy of a free jacket, give it to them as well.

Take note that when you send something to somebody and nothing good happens, you can’t dwell. You have to look at it in macro.

On Natasha’s business mentor:

Natasha’s business mentor is a salesperson, while Gary is a marketer and brander.

The time when you can charge a person for a session is when you desperately need to. And the goal is not to reach that particular point.

What will happen if she keeps on following Gary’s advice is, she will be able to build a community that will buy her pieces of art.
