Celeste’s Question or Topic

Celeste owns a women’s apparel business and has been managing it for about five years. Unfortunately, her business is among many companies impacted by the coronavirus. And so it seemed scary for her knowing that this period will have a lot of uncertainties. But right now, she’s finding inspiration and is trying to be of service in any way she could. Celeste is with Gary today to seek advice on what to do during this time.

Gary’s Story and Advices

It’s okay to worry about someone’s well being. However, Celeste must not beat herself up for worrying too much.

Inspiring is not something that’s going to do overwhelmingly well, given the circumstance and the mindset of humans.

What Celeste can do right now is to text her friends whom she hasn’t interacted for a long time, and telling them that she cares about them. Celeste should also design something that incorporates a non-profit organization, such as the Red Cross. That could be a viral moment and could bring awareness and brand for her because people appreciate that she’s stepping up, which may then lead to business once the pandemic is over.
