Lindsey’s Question or Topic

Lindsey is from Jersey. For years, she has worked in a corporate job with garage selling as her side hustle. Lindsey remembers back when she was in college, which is also the time that she discovered Gary Vee, after every end of term, people would throw out their furniture on the curb so she decided to sell them for the first time on Craigslist, and she liked it. By the time she had her son, she no longer wants to work so Lindsey made the side hustle her main source of income. Right now, all of Lindsey’s activities are on hiatus due to COVID-19. So she asked for Gary’s tips on what to do next.

Gary’s Story and Advices

As a garage selling enthusiast, Gary is so devastated that he and Lindsey are going to miss the garage sale season in Jersey this year.

What Lindsey can do, for the meantime, is to do the flipping in their house. Next, Lindsey may create a $15-$20 course about flipping and creativity. Also, she may create an 80-90-page document and market it using social media platforms, such as Zoom or Google Hangouts. The document could be coupled with a free one-on-one session with her as a form of marketing. With her developed skills, Gary thinks that Lindsey has the potential to build her community around her niche.
